Ebony Hutchins is the Founder & CEO of Step by Step In Home Care. She is married to a great man, they have been blessed with three children who are their pride and joy. Mrs. Hutchins owned & operated a Maryland Licensed Home Childcare from July 2003 to February 2017. She has enjoyed taking care of children and loves making sure people are well taken care of.

Understanding the need of quality Home Care, I want to make sure seniors age with dignity in their homes, provide care for post op clients, children , and to all who need care. This is what gave Ebony the inspiration to start Step by Step In Home Care. Hiring highly qualified, caring, motivated staff who share her passion about caring for all who needs care, and want to remain in their home is the utmost importance to Ebony.

Ebony also loves spending time with her children and family. You can often find her with her husband, who is her best friend, and family vacationing sharing good times and laughter.
It’s very important for Ebony to be present in her children’s life and to instill in them “Once you start something you cannot quit, no matter what.” This nurturing and encouraging nature also drives Ebony to ensure that all of her home care staff are dedicated, honest, and energetic caregivers, and it is from this that her slogan “We will be with you every step of the way” was formed.
